Film Review – Turtle: The Incredible Journey
Did you know all loggerhead turtles begin their lives by being buried alive? I learned many things about loggerhead turtles at the Cleveland International Film Festival.
"Turtle" is a true story about the remarkable journey of a loggerhead turtle, now named Feebee. Loggerhead turtles begin their lives being buried alive and spend 3 days emerging from the sand. They quickly try to make their way from land to water scurrying past predators. During the film Feebee travels from a Florida beach across the North Atlantic until she reaches Africa. Only 25 years later she returns to her birth place in Florida to lay her eggs. Only one in ten thousand turtles survive this journey.
The film isn't just about the journey of a turtle. It has a deeper meaning regarding what we are doing to our oceans and what we need to do to save them and the animals that live there. I have a special place in my heart for animals and films like this always push me to do something to try to help.

thanks for sharing this. I have indeed been always interested with turtles and this story definitely gave me alot of information regarding them. its very touching how they manage to go back to their hometown after years of not being there.
I agree that we are destroying our oceans and all the sea creatures and wild life. Most of these species will go extinct and very soon, going at this rate, humans will go extinct too, unless we stop doing what we are doing and care for others. I would definitely like to watch this movie and this sound like a promising entertainer. I am sure this movie has Everything you need to know about PPC,SEO: amichai inbar webmarket. I guess I have missed being at the Cleveland Film festival and definitely there would not be any use for the promo code.

I haven’t heard of this movie till I read this blog. Now that it appears in the Cleveland International Film Festival. It should be an interesting even along with an interesting Movie. The Global warming, turtle poaching all poses a challenge to this species partly endangered. Got to have this movie or make it to the film festival to watch it.

"Did you know all loggerhead turtles begin their lives by being buried alive?" --catchy introduction. but yes, i knew. even that they were left by their parents and that they would literally swim for their lives on their first attempt to swim. these turtles really amazes me in simple things that they do.
