Lindsay Lohan's Latest Excuse to Avoid Jail: Someone Stole My Passport!

Lindsay Lohan is in serious denial. Tomorrow, she will be a no-show at court, but she claims it is because someone stole her passport. The judge in her case has already made it clear that if she is not there tomorrow, she could face up to 180 days in jail.

Conveniently, LiLo is claiming that someone stole her passport so she is unable to leave Cannes, Frances. According to TMZ, Lohan has an appointment with the U.S. Embassy tomorrow at 9am to get another passport so she can make her way home.

Too bad Lohan's court case is scheduled for 8:30am tomorrow. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley told TMZ:

"I was on the phone with Lindsay's assistant the entire night and we're doing everything we can to resolve this issue and get her back to L.A. Lindsay is distraught because it was her intention to get back to L.A. today to do more alcohol education classes today and appear in court tomorrow."

Under the terms of Lohan's probation, she was required to complete 13 alcohol education courses. Prior to jetting off for the Cannes Film Festival last week, she had only completed 10. Who seriously would believe that she'd do 3 in one day???
