Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to Simulcast Induction Ceremony

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be hosting a simulcast for the 26th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony beginning on March 16. It will be the 10th year in a row that the Rock Hall has simulcast the event.

Tickets for the event will cost $5 and will go on sale to Museum Members on Friday, February 18. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Monday, February 21. They can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 1-800-745-3000, and at the Rock Hall's box office.

Doors open at 7pm, and the more than 3-hour long ceremony will begin at 8:30pm. The ceremony, which also includes performances and presentations, will be broadcast on a giant 12-foot screen at the Museum's main stage and on several other large screens throughout the Museum. Refreshments, including beer and wine, and snacks will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Art Rupe will be inducted by Lloyd Price

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Award for Recording Excellence:
Leon Russell will be inducted by Elton John
