Brady Quinn's Nightmare Over, Drafted By Browns

Maybe the stars are finally aligning right for the hard luck Cleveland Browns after years of futility. The Browns, who many thought were gonna take Brady Quinn but instead took Joe Thomas with their 3rd overall pick, waited patiently for over 20 picks before landing a trade to draft the standout from Notre Dame.

This has to be looked at as great news for the Browns. Needing both big time Offensive Linemen and a Quarterback, they were able to fill both needs in the first round of the draft.

The Browns were able to make the move trading with the Dallas Cowboys. The Browns gave their second round pick and next years number one in order to make the deal.

So, in a day that started as a nightmare, it ends up as a dream as the Ohio native plays with the team has rooted for his whole life. Good work, Phil Savage.
