
According to the results of a new poll conducted by LivingSocial, Clevelanders take the fewest number of vacation days of any city in the United States. The survey found that Clevelanders take an average of 11.4 vacation days per year, compared to the national average of 16.06 vacation days.
The top five cities with the fewest vacation days included:
1 - Cleveland (11.4)
2 - Minneapolis - St. Paul (11.86)
3 - Philadelphia (12.82)
4 - Boston (13.78)
5 - Phoenix (14.02)
And the top five cities with the most vacation days taken include:
1 - Miami (21.43)
2 - Washington D.C. (21.07)
3 - Tampa - St. Petersburg (20.09)
4 - Denver (19.52)
5 - Seattle (19.5)
Interestingly, the poll also found that Clevelanders took the top spot for "staycations" out of 20 U.S. cities, and ranked No. 2 in "going off the grid" and cutting out email/cell use.
The survey was conducted by Mandala Research LLC online, and included 4,000 adults in 20 American cities.
