Reports out of the UK indicate that the bitter divorce battle between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills may soon be coming to an end, with the two reportedly calling a truce for the sake of their daughter, Beatrice.

The couple apparently decided that their public fighting and antics were not in the best interest of their child, and have decided to move beyond that. It is believed that Paul McCartney agreed that a final divorce settlement will be settled within the next year, and should be celebrating his 65th birthday in June at a party with both Mills and their daughter Bea present.

Mills has reportedly calmed Paul's fears that she would move to America to take up a new career, taking their daughter with her. For now, she'll be staying in the UK.

Sources reveal that the divorce will be settled by next spring,and in the meantime, Paul has handed over £1 million as Mills claimed she needed the money to help pay off debts.

Heather is estimated to receive approximately £100 million of his £800 million-plus fortune in the final settlement.
