Michael Bloomberg Encouraging Hillary Clinton to Run for NYC Mayor

Hillary Clinton, currently the Secretary of State under President Barack Obama's administration, has made it clear that she will be vacating her position when the President's second term officially begins next month. Just what Clinton will do with her time remains unknown, but if New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg gets his way, she'll take over as NYC mayor.

According to the New York Post, during a recent telephone conversation with Hillary Clinton, the billionaire urged her to consider succeeding him at City Hall. The paper's sources say that Bloomberg told Clinton that she'd be terrific at the job, and pointed out how wonderful it was to run the U.S.'s largest city.

Anyone who runs for mayor is required to live in New York City. Hillary Clinton lives in Chappaqua, which is located about 20 miles from the city limits. She could still run as long as she moved to NYC by Election Day.

The former first lady is also rumored to be eying a run for the White House in 2016.
