While many other technology manufacturers are busy worrying about their 7 and 10-inch tablets' competition, Lenovo has its sights set on something much bigger. Lenovo is slated to show off its new, 27-inch IdeaCentre Horizon at the Consumer Electronics show this week.
The massive HD multi-touch display runs Windows 8 and features a third-generation Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Weighing in at 17 pounds, this tablet is definitely a beast and isn't something you can easily tote around.
Nevertheless, if a giant tablet is the object of your dreams, there isn't much other competition out there.
According to AllThingsD, the 27-inch tablet will be priced at $1,700 when it ships this summer. Considering the cost of significantly smaller tablets, that $1,700 doesn't seem so bad.
