Jessica Cutler, who made national headlines when she wrote a blog about her Washington DC sex life, is in financial trouble. The former aide to Senator Mike Dewine has filed for bankruptcy. Her financial troubles are in part because of a lawsuit by Robert Steinbuch. Steinbuch, who also worked for Dewine, has sued Cutler for $20 Million dollars because he was a target in some of her blog posts. Bloggers are watching for the outcome of the trial because it could have ramifications of how people talk about personal relationships on their websites.

After Cutler was fired by Dewine she posed for Playboy and also wrote a novel, 'The Washingtonienne: A Novel', that spoke of her time in Washington DC. She said, in court papers, she is in such financial distress she cannot even pay her credit card payments.
