WTAM Reaches 5-Year Agreement to Broadcast Cleveland Indians Games

WTAM AM 1100 and the Cleveland Indians have reached an agreement for a five-year deal that will allow WTAM to carry the team's games. Under the agreement, Tom Hamilton and Jim Rosenhaus will remain the game announcers.

The Indians also announced that WMMS FM 100.7 will simulcast an estimated 144 of its games per season for the duration of the contract.

WTAM has carried Tribe games on the radio since 1998. The 2013 season will be Hamilton's 24th season as the voice of the Cleveland Indians. Rosenhaus will be starting his second year as Hamilton's full-time partner, but his seventh season as a part of the broadcast team.

WTAM will broadcast all regular season Indians games. WTAM will also carry 15 spring training games each year, and will distribute all games to the 26 stations on the Indians radio network in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Indians pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Goodyear, Ariz. on February 10. The Tribe will begin Cactus League play on February 22 against Cincinnati. The Indians will open the regular season in Toronto and April 2.
