Apple to Expand Distribution in the U.S. with New Deal with Staples
The latest rumors suggest that Apple will expand its distribution in the United States thanks to a new deal with office supply chain Staples, which will reportedly begin stocking Apple products.
Neither company has confirmed the deal, but several Staples employees have taken to Twitter to announce that Apple devices will soon be available in Staples stores..
Staples SVP of Global Human Resources Regis Mulot write in a tweet that has since been deleted:
“After Canada, Apple products are coming to Staples in US"
Field Services Manager Mike Goggin followed up that news with a tweet of his own, that as of this morning was still published:
“Staples just finalized a deal to begin selling Apple products"
It is not yet clear which Apple products will be sold in Staples stores.
