Kucinich Wants to Play One on One


The Dennis Kucinich campaign has thrown the gauntlet down at the Hillary Clinton and John Edwards campaigns. The Cleveland Congressman has called them on to debate them one on one if they want a smaller forum.

"If you are truly seeking debates where there are fewer participants and where there is more meaningful and serious discourse, this is a great opportunity for us to join together in an open discussion on behalf of the American people," Kucinich wrote to the two who caused a stir when an open mic suggested they wanted to start eliminating lower tier candidates in the debate.

The funniest thing about this whole controversy is the fact that Edwards thinks he has any chance at winning the Democratic nomination. He really probably has nightmares when he starts to think about when Al Gore throws his hat in the ring which will make the Edwards "a second tier" opponent. Odds are he won't want to eliminate himself from those debates.
