Video of Minnesota Bridge Collapse

A security camera caught the dramatic collapse of the I-35W Bridge into the Mississippi River during rush hour traffic yesterday in Minnesota. A majority of the freeway bridge has fallen into the river below, and there are fears that additional sections may fall.

The bridge collapsed at approximately 6:05pm Wednesday evening, a time when many commuters were on their way home from work.

It is believed that the collapse was due at least in part to some structural issues. Terrorism hasn't been ruled out and is being looked into, but condition of the bridge and other issues are more likely to be the cause of the tragic accident.

At least seven people are reported dead due to the collapse, and another 60 were taken to the hospital. An estimated 20 people are still missing, and the death toll is expected to rise as rescuers continue to canvas the area and recover more bodies.
