What do Grady Sizemore, Ryan Howard, Vladimir Guerrero, and Jordan Brown all have in common? They have all won the Eastern League's rookie of the year award. So now you are probably asking who the heck is Jordan Brown.

Brown is a first baseman for the Indians Double A team the Akron Aeros. Today he won was awarded the rookie of the year in the league for a stellar year. The 23 year old is hitting .326 with 10 HR's 72 RBI and 79 runs scored.

Last season Brown won the Carolina League MVP award so he is probably getting used to honors by now. The Indians acquired his services in the 2005 draft in the fourth round out of the University of Arizona.
