Can Someone tell The Indians this is Getting Old?

The 2007 Cleveland Indians have made a habit of making the postgame interviewee the recipient of a whipped cream pie in the face. Is it just me, or is this getting old? Oh, wait, it got old the first time I saw it. I have read many books on Major League Baseball. I don't remember the 1927 New York Yankees or the 1948 Cleveland Indians making it any kind of post game ritual. I can see some kind of celebration for winning something, but a pie in the face after beating the Kansas City Royals?

Trot Nixon was the "brainchild" behind this juvenile behavior. He probably figured that he couldn't hit (or field for that matter) anymore so he wanted to keep himself on the roster some how. The scary thing is, it seems to have worked!

I agree. What is going on in that locker room. Does Larry Craig come to visit them?
