Shannon Brown Releases Statement About Touch Nightclub Incident

As we reported yesterday, Shannon Brown was involved in a nightclub incident in which he was beaten up by bouncers at the Warehouse Districts club 'Touch'. Before practice, Brown release a written statement to the media that said:
"I was involved in a situation several nights ago that has caused me to file charges against people I feel assaulted me. My father, who is a policeman in Illinois, has been here to help me with this and we are going through the legal process right now. I am going to respect that process by not commenting further at this time."
Danny Ferry, the Cleveland Cavaliers General Manager also weighed in the situation saying:
"We are aware of the situation and understand Shannon has filed assault charges. We know Shannon is a person of high character and what he experienced several nights ago was very upsetting. At this point, we're trying to be sensitive to the legal process they have engaged and don't have any additional comments to make."
