Beatles "Help!" Exhibit Coming to Rock Hall

Coming next month to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio is an exclusive new exhibit celebrating the Beatles' film "Help!", the group's second feature-length film. The exhibit is timed to coincide with the November 6th DVD release of the movie, and will include many never-before-seen artifacts and set photography shot during the movie's production.
The exhibit, Help! Behind the Scenes of the Beatles' Movie, will kick-off with a special members-only reception at 7 p.m. on November 16, 2007.
Jim Henke, VP of exhibitions and curatorial affairs for the museum, said:
“We’ve tried to capture the zany spirit of the Beatles’ second movie in this exhibit. We were fortunate in that the Beatles’ organization Apple Corps had great archives of material from the filming of the movie, and they have generously loaned much of it to us for the exhibit.”
Featured in the exhibit will be George Harrison's original scripts for the film, as well as a reproduction of Richard Lester's working script with handwritten changes. Also included are various shooting schedules and call sheets, tickets to U.S. premieres of the film at the Beacon Theater in NYC, posters, press kits, and promotional items. Visitors to the exhibit will also get a glimpse at the costumes worn by the Beatles in the film, and the instruments that they played.
