2008 is a year that you are looking forward to if your a fan of mid-90's British Rock. 'The Verve' is in the studio looking to recapture some of the magic that had been lost since the band split after working on the excellent album 'Urban Hymnes'. Blur are reunited with longtime guitarist Graham Coxon and will most likely put out another high quality album. And what would it be mentioning 'The Verve' and 'Blur' without mentioning 'Oasis' and the Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam as they embark on their first album since 2004's 'Don't Believe the Truth'.

'Oasis', via their website, announced that they are back in the studio with Dave Sardy. With albums by 'The Verve, 'Blur', and 'Oasis' all in the same year it will have many fans thinking its not 2008 but a throwback to 1997. I, for one, can't wait.
