Cradle Robbing Nick Cokas and Katherine McPhee Engaged
Another May-December relationship to report. This time its actor Nick Cokas, who is 42, and Katherine McPhee who is the 23 year old and a celeb due to her appearance on American Idol. The two plan on getting hitched.
“Katharine is bubbling over with excitement for her upcoming wedding,” a source told People who were the first to report the upcoming wedding. “She is all smiles when she talks about the planning. It sounds like everything is going very smoothly.”
The couple started dating when they met in 2005. Cokas doesn't have many credits to his name according to imbd. He has appeared in one television show in 2005. McPhee McPhee was the runner up to Taylor Hicks on the fifth season of American Idol. She currently has a contract to record with RCA and has a self-titled album and a few television appearances so far her in career.

Did we read headlines about cradle robbing Tom Cruise or Michael Douglas when they married ladies who were 17 and 25 years younger than they were? I don't remember that. So why all the fuss over the McPhee/Cokas union? Oh well, I suppose any publicity is good publicity. I'm just glad she's happy.
