Usually when two drug addicts get together it's to discuss their dealers, but in the case of Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty, they're trying to kick their addictions to drugs. The Babyshambles frontman has revealed that his recent conversations with Amy are helping them both to overcome their additions.

Doherty is also reportedly comforting Amy while her husband, Blake Civil-Fielder, is behing held in a London prison for alleged involvement in a £200,000 plot to pervert the course of justice.

Doherty said, "I speak to Amy almost every day. She just wants her man back for Christmas. They are desperately in love. One good thing is that Blake has got clean since he has been in prison. It's quite awakening. Amy stopped doing everything since he went in. She realises how much they have to lose. They are going to lose each other if it carries on. Love, music and melody is the way forward."

Unfortunately, the Doherty-Winehouse rehab attempts might not be working out so well. Just yesterday Amy Winehouse was photographed with a curious white substance in her nose, which has left many wondering if she's been "powdering" her nose again.

Doherty, who went away to rehab for awhile, was photographed injecting heroin just days after claiming to be clean. He said, "It hasn't been all plain sailing. I am sad to say I had a drugs relapse. I was clean for 11 weeks before that."

When asked how he and Amy were coping with their addictions, he quipped: "Let's just say we are not dreaming of a white or brown Christmas!"

"Brown" is a slang term for heroin, and "white" or "snow" is another name for cocaine.
