Boy George to Stand Trial for False Imprisonment Feb 25th

Culture Club star and 1980's pop icon Boy George has a court date on February 25th. The musician, who is charged with falsely imprisoning a male escort by chaining him to a wall, has been released on bail. The charges are severe enough to land him jail for life, but legal experts in England do not envision that happening.

His lawyer issued a statement saying if George is convicted of the offense, his punishment will be at the "lowest end of the scale".
