Cleveland WinterFest Returns for its 24th Holiday Season

Public Square is the destination for thousands of Clevelanders as they start getting ready for the holiday season. Cleveland's WinterFest 2007 will be an all day event which will be family fun at its finest. It is not just about the lighting up of the town square as there are many more events lined up.

This is the 24th year of the annual event and will feature a parade of 50 horse-drawn carriages(ex-Cleveland Indians hurler of perfect game fame Len Barker will be grand marshal), ice carving and a choir singing at Old Stone Church.

The festivities will be highlighted at 7 pm when fireworks and 600,000 lights will light up the center of town as Clevelanders usher in another holiday season.
Considering the Cleveland Cavaliers play in the afternoon tommorow, WinterFest is a great way to stay downtown and enjoy all the activities and get some Christmas shopping done at the same time. For more information on the event, please visit www.cleveland.com/winterfest.
