Actor Brandon Routh, best known for his role of Superman in "Superman Returns", married his girlfriend of more than four years, Courtney Ford, on Saturday. The couple exchanged their vows at a ranch in Santa Barbara, California.

Movie producer Mindy Peters hosted the 150-guest wedding at her 3000-acre El Capitan Ranch along with her husband, Jon Peters, producer of "Superman Returns."

According to sources, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger closed airspace above the ranch, which ensured that nosy paparazzi were kept at a distance.

Routh and Ford met while Routh was bartending at the Lucky Strike Bowling Alley for Ford's mother's wedding reception. In honor of how they met, Routh and his groomsmen went bowling the night before the big wedding day.
