Metromint Issues Recall for Bottled Water
This week, Soma Beverage issued a recall for their Metromint bottled water. The water comes in 16.9oz bottles, in a variety of flavors, including Peppermind, Spearmint, Orangemint, and Lemonmint. Those affected by the recall have a Best Before 2008/12/21 date, and were produced at Soma's California facility. The products produced in California have "KSA" within a rectangle printed on the lower right-hand corner of the back label.
The water is being recalled because it may be contaminated with Bacillus cereus, which can cause diarhheal food poisoning, or the vomiting type of food poisoning.
According to Soma, so far no illnesses have been reported. If you have any of the recalled products, you can get a refund or replacement by visiting the company's website at www.metromint.com.

Not very healthy
We have known about the B. cereus contamination for over two years. They have always shipped the product anyway. This is just the first time we got caught. (This was NOT a voluntary recall.) If you test Metromint you will also find contamination with ozone, used in the manufacturing process. This product is NOT safe. Many people working in the factory in Valencia have become sick and had miscarriages. I am glad the people running this company are finally getting caught. Maybe they will finally clean up the place.

They dont care and they havent been caught, they fired a few workers who found more bacteria recently, they will block anyone they can. and way more workers are sicker than they let on. It must be hard being an undocumented immigrant and having them take advantage of you like a slave
