Corporations Win Over Democracy: Kucinich Loses Bid to Debate

You think that Democracy is alive and well in United States of America? Think again. The Nevada Supreme Court, despite enormous popular opinion, has sided with General Electric and NBC and have ruled that Dennis Kucinich is not allowed to debate despite being invited to take place in the schedule event just last week.
The Las Vegas Sun Wrote on their website:
This just in from the state Supreme Court: NBC/MSNBC win, Kucinich loses. The congressman from Ohio won’t be on stage at the televised debate in 45 minutes.
He argued that the network offered, and then withdrew, an offer that he participate in the debate, and he protested. The court disagreed.
We’re waiting now to hear the reason for the ruling. Stay tuned.
Do you know what you can take America back from the corporations that are have now decided who and who shouldn't vote for? Vote Kucinich.

Nevada Supreme Court's Opinion
The Nevada Supreme Court issued a writ of prohibition requiring the trial court judge not to exercise jurisdiction, and a writ of mandamus compelling the district court judge to vacate his prior order, finding that the judge had manifestly abused his discretion.

The Democratic candidates should withdraw from the debate
The democratic candidates should firmly explain why war profiteer GE/NBC is wrong, and then leave the debate,
Here, here!
Here, here!
Thank God.
Thank God sanity reigns. Now the people of Nevada who are highly uninterested in the "far out space nuts" campaign of alleged candidate Dennis Kucinich don't have to put up with a candidate who, let's face it, even in the most open of societies would never be a viable candidate for president.
It's not about sanity. This
It's not about sanity. This is about ending corruption and restoring democracy immediately.
Why?
Why should Clinton, Obama, and Edwards walk out in protest? Kucinich got 0% in Iowa and 1% in New Hampshire! He's not and never has been a viable candidate. Ron Paul, who also never stood a chance, got 10% in Iowa and yet he was excluded from the Fox News debate. But I didn't hear anybody demand that the Republican front-runners exclude themselves from the debate.
WAKE AND SMELL THE COFFEE
Any candidate that does not conform to corporate interests will not get airtime. And as we all know, the power of the media in pushing the profiles of candidates cannot be understated. That's why both Ron Paul and Kucinich have been silenced by the media and don't get any exposure AT ALL, because the media well know that once the public hear what they have to say, they will get many more votes and become a force to be reckoned with. And they don't want that do they!
Wake up America. There is no democracy while you sit back and let them blatantly get away it. You country has been hijacked.
chalk one up for de.mockery
chalk one up for demockery...so is this considered an advance in ummm demo.ratic principles?
the wire service were full of celebratory headlines after the ruling. gotta love it
free.dumb. just.us & de.mockery
it's truly the american way
stay the course sheeple
stay the course
Democracy prevails!
Democracy won out. The people have uniformly rejected Dennis Kucinich and he should not be forced down the throats of NBC, GE or the viewers. He is irrelevant to the outcome of the election or any educated discourse.
wait the elections are over?
didn't realise the elections were over...you're talking rubbish...how could the people have rejected Kucinich when only three primaries have been held...what people are you talking about? the people at GE who're uncomfortable with Dennis or the front runners and the DNC who're anxious to continue plan afghanistan. plan iraq. plan iran and plan america?
