Kucinich Vows to Fight for Changes to FCC Law
Just minutes after the Nevada Supreme Court overturned a lower court decision to force NBC to honor their initial invitation for Dennis Kucinich to participate in the Demoratic debates Tuesday evening, effectively barring him from joining the debate, Kucinich joined a small band of his supporters in a far corner of the Cashman Center parking lot. Ever the fighter, Kucinich decried the decision as pandering to big business, and vowed to fight to change FCC regulations.
“The fact of the matter is, NBC is owned by General Electric. General Electric makes power plants. General Electric wants to make sure there is a place to dump the waste," said Kucinich.
In speaking of "waste", Kucinich was referring to nuclear waste and the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dumpsite northwest of Las Vegas. Kucinich believes that GE is keeping him off the air because he joined the state in opposing the dump.
"Now the media has become an issue in this campaign by trying to determine who should be in this debate," continued Kucinich.
Dennis Kucinich vowed that he will fight for changes to Federal Communications Commssion (FCC) law to ensure future candidates don't suffer from the same discriminatory practices as he has, and can participate in debates.
"This underlying corruption is something that undermines our democracy. I’m asking you to continue our efforts to stand up and speak," said the Cleveland congressman.

Well, that's that, I'm going to register as an independent from now on. I am still voting for Dennis Kucinich, but I will start boycotting MSNBC.

When the corporate run mainstream media decides who the next president of the United States of America is, we are no longer a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We are now a government of the AARPs, by the Disneys, and for the General Electrics.
I am officially boycotting any/all programming by NBC/MSNBC/CNBC/Telemundo. Also, I will never purchase another GE product in my life.
Truly disappointed by GE/NBC's anti-American actions these past few days.

God bless you Dennis you are a hero. Please join forces with congressman Paul or Mr. Nader for a run as an independent because the democratic party is corrupt as hell. We need to keep fighting for civil liberties and the foundational principles of America all the way until the general election.
Nevade debate
How is this possible Dennis Kucinich is a viable candidate, I hope to find out who deprived the american voters to hear Dennis Kucinich. I did not like the debate at all. I'm thoughrely disgusted with this campaign.
Kucinich is correct
All candidates who were allowed to speak voted for Yucca Mountain and/or its funding. Edwards voted to override Bill Clinton's veto and then voted with Bush to make Yucca Mountain a permanent nuclear dump site. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voted to fund Yucca Mountain. In Nevada, the lives of the people are at stake and NBC is so interested in profits that it excluded the only candidate who voted against Yucca Mountain and its funding. This is election tampering at its worst. This is more than an FCC problem. NBC ought to be charged with election fraud and election tampering.
Boycott where it hurts
Boycotting NBC and Microsoft won't do it. You have to boycott ALL ADVERTISERS on NBC and then let them know why. In other words, hurt them the only place they have feelings, in their profits.

the rigging of america's elections
Until we insist on honest elections..we will be victims of this kind of vote rigging and the media chosing who is heard.
If we cannot trust the machines..I say shut them down NOW. We may never get another chance.
