No Deal Reached in McCartney Divorce, Judge Will Settle

Despite rumors that Paul McCartney and Heather Mills had settled the terms of their divorce, the week-long divorce hearing ended Monday without a deal. Having failed to reach amicable terms, a judge will now impose a settlement on the battling duo.
Upon exiting the court today, McCartney's lawyer - Nicholas Mostyn - told reporters that the judge had reserved his ruling. Judge Hugh Bennett will now spend the next several weeks hashing out a settlement.
After just four years of marriage, Heather Mills and Paul McCartney separated in 2006. They have taken the divorce to court, where Heather is attempting to get her share of the former Beatles' estimated $1.6 billion.
Mills attended the court proceedings Monday, while McCartney did not. It should be noted, however, that McCartney was present every day last week in court.
Media reports had previously suggested that McCartney, 65, offered Mills approximately $50 million. It has been rumored, however, that Mills, 40, was seeking at least double that.
The divorce proceedings began on February 11, and since then few details have emerged outside of the courtroom. In England, divorce proceedings are heard in private, and the court is closed to journalists and the public. Therefore, the terms of any settlement will not be publicly released unless it becomes challenged in the Court of Appeals, or one of the parties reveals the details.

Nice work if you can get it
Tough life. Live with billionaire heart throb Paul McCartney for four years, and then haul off everything he owns. 80 million not enough? For what!? Your own country?! ^o^
We don't want her
Oh no! America doesn't want her here!!! NO NO NO!!! We love Paul, but we DO NOT love the money grubbing Heather leach. I don't even think she will be welcome in Siberia. She has no idea how popular and known Paul is; the whole world is for Paul and loves Paul as well as his music. The world wishes Heather would simply drop dead and disappear, please.
