Phillies Fool Pitcher Kyle Kendrick Telling Him He Has Been Traded to Japan

How would you like if your boss told you told that you had to relocate nearly 7000 miles to your new job? That is what the Philadelphia Phillies on pitcher Kyle Kendrick yesterday. Everybody besides the 23 year who went 10-4 in his rookie year was in on the gag. Best of all, it was all captured on video and filmed in a documentary style.
Former Cleveland Indians manager Charlie Manuel, currently the skipper for the Phillies, informs Kendrick that he has been traded for Takeru Kobayashi. It is apparent that Kendrick doesn't watch the Nathans Hot Dog Eating contest as Kobayashi is the slender gentleman who can eat hot dogs by the bucket load. Manuel wishes the stunned young right handed pitcher good luck and informs him that he will be making a lot of money when he goes over to Japan.
Brett Myers orchestrated the whole idea and had contributions from the General Manager all the way down to the press who knew that it was all a hoax.
Too bad that the Cleveland Indians didn't pull this with CC Sabathia. Him not negotiating a contract after laying an egg is getting on Tribe fans nerves.
Here is the video that you are sure to get a laugh from:
