Google to Expand Research & Development in Israel

Google announced today plans to open a research and development center in Tel Aviv, also seeking to establish partnerships with Israeli universities and institutes.

The research and development center will open in early 2007, and is a part of Google's larger effort to expand R&D globally.

Israel already home to such tech giants as Motorola,IBM, and Microsoft, and is considered to be one of the world's largest high-tech centers.

It is really nice when some companies are opening centers in non developed countries in order to help keep their traditions, religion and other important things. Despite the fact this this article is over 3 years old, it was still something new for me because I didn't hear anything about it before. So thanks for posting it here.
