Ex-Scientologst Claims Tom Cruise Held Casting Calls to Find a Wife
Ex-Scientologist Marc Headley, who used to make promotional films for the controversial religion, has now made the claim that Tom Cruise's marriage to Katie Holmes was set up after a series of fake casting calls for actresses failed to produce him a wife. According to Headley, Scientologist leader David Miscavige organized an audition process for possible wives, which was secretly disguised as a casting call for a new movie in which Cruise was the star.
Headley told News of the World:
"After that (splitting from Cruz), he started complaining to his best buddy David about his luck with girls. So Miscavige assigned a high-ranking official with the order: 'Find a wife for Tom Cruise.'
"The official put out a casting call to female actresses, including Scientologists, saying, 'There's an upcoming Tom Cruise movie you might get a part in. Come for an audition.'
"But in the end no movie was made. They had to be single, they had to be pretty and in their 20s.
"First they rounded up Scientologist actresses like Erica Christensen, Erica Howard, Sofia Milos. But they were all rejected."
Apparently the official then tried to Jennifer Garner, who had just begun dating Ben Affleck. That didn't work out. Headley says after Garner they went for Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba.
But then Katie Holmes was heard gushing about Tom, and was called out to LA to meet with him.
"The moment he meets her, he's enthralled with her and he told Miscavige later, 'I knew immediately she was the one,'" said Headley.

Cruise is creepy
That cult weirds me out. I have many questions. Why do they hate disabled people? How much does it cost?
Why do they give Tom cruise so much attention?
Response
Scientology doesn't hate disabled people. You can order from the internet (bridgepublications.com) a book called "Dianetics" which could answer some of your questions. Scientologists don't give attention to Tom Cruise, it's the media that does.
It is true, they don't hate
It is true, they don't hate disabled people. But Scientologists do believe the disabled are somehow responsible for their condition. In Scientology parlance "they pulled it in." Scientology proclaims it makes "the able more able." So where does that leave the disabled?
That's horrible! What kind
That's horrible! What kind of "religion" could ever think that?!?!
Actually, Scientology does
Actually, Scientology does hate disabled people.

^^^ This is an interview of a woman who was told her disabled son was a "suppressive person" and that she should cut off all ties with him, after paying the "Church" 100$ for work-stress reasons.
Convinced? No? www.xenu.net has a lot more information, about everything the CoS's done.
knock yourselves out!
If Scientologists don't give
If Scientologists don't give Tom Cruise attention, then please explain why he was given the "Freedom Medal of Valor."

Stay away from that creepy
Stay away from that creepy cult. Follow your first instinct. They brainwash their followers they are as bad as the mooneys. They give Tom Cruise attention because he brings attention to the cult and they want more followers to drain them of money. How much does it cost it varies to get to the higher levels it's about $300,000.00!!!
Cruise is great
the strory is already proved to be fake as radar magazine set it up 3 years ago. everybody denied it and explained how they constructed the story
Ex scientologist want some Publicity!
moron
Cruise rocks, but Holmes sucks.
Who's this "everybody"? And
Who's this "everybody"? And please post a link to this article you're referring to -- it wouldn't be surprising if it were actually -real-, since three years ago is when they started dating...
Scienotology rules!
Why does the media make up these lies about Scientology? Tom Cruise is my hero. Everything about him is perfect. Instead of believing lies about us, why not find out more about Scientology and come to one of out churches for a free personality test. You will find a new lease on life.
What kind of "Religion" has
What kind of "Religion" has a it's own CIA type organization within it designed to seek out and make pro-Scientology comments?

Better yet, do a little research at clambake.org
I'm sure you'll find very useful info there.
That website does not exist.
That website does not exist. I've typed into my web browser and it doesn't exist.
Scientology has a policy of fair exchange. I give back the enormous benefits I have recieved. I communicate better with people, I can see the people who are suppressive and disconnect from them plus my IQ is much higher than beofre.
Stop attacking us. Crimes against us are revealed in the end.
Does Xenu.net work in your
Does Xenu.net work in your browser? It's the same site. If it doesn't, you must have software installed on your computer that blocks sites that Scientology finds offensive. That's pretty sad.
i simply dont believe you. i
i simply dont believe you. i think YOU believe you communicate better, and "have a new lease on life", as another put it, but really your IQ is no better. You are the same slug that crawled into the org from day 1, except that the cult has given you positive reinforcement. youre just brainwashed.
no one is "attacking" you. its the corporation disguised as a "church" that is under PR siege. as well as it SHOULD be. your auditing and OT sessions should be FREE. someone is profiting from that, dont you understand? and please dont compare that to other (real) churches. most of them do not require donations for attendence or to take part in religious exercises.
please grow up.
u stupid
dude, shut up..quit acting like ur all tough and get a life...ur telling them to grow up....y dont u?!
Why follow a cult full of
Why follow a cult full of dwarf leaders. If you are going into a cult, at least get into one where the leaders are of a respectable height. Miscaviage is a double dwarf, both mentally and vertically challenged.

Everyone should have a read of this and yes Tom Cruise is potentially a dangerous man.
It is a sad comment on our
It is a sad comment on our culture when those who are placed on the communication channels of the world find it most important to rail against someone and dig up as much sensationlist garbage as they can.
Tom Cruise is known as a very personable, well intentioned and enthusiastic individual. I think we can all see the rather dubious accusation of Tom having a hard time meeting women.
These attacks on Tom Cruise are really veiled attacks on Scientology itself. He, as the most prominent of members, receives a littany of gossip, mockery, and accusation. Most individuals would crumble under such a heavy onslaught. I think it is a testimony to his character that he hasn't. This is one reason among others why most of Hollywood and those who know him rally to his side.
This situation would well serve to be an analogy to the fight between the more evil and base actions of our society and the more benevolent and less self serving.
Not all of us have banded together with the trickster and charlatan. We don't all believe what we hear on first encounter and some of us still have a nose for plain old horse puckey when we come across it.
One can only hope that one day those rumor-mongers such as that ex-Scientologist settle themselves out in life somehow or that our society becomes intolerant enough of these folks that we shake our heads and turn a cold shoulder to those inhabiting these gossip circles.
Terryeo, I see you've come
Terryeo, I see you've come to your senses :) hehe, inside joke.
Anyway, to those who've stumbled onto this story and are curious about Scientology, visit the above links to whyaretheydead.net and the other one at clambake.org.
Tom Cruise is delusional and vindictive, but David Miscavige is the one who's dangerous.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE...
For those of you reading this article, do not pay any attention to the posts by some of these people. They are brainwashed by the CoS. Go to www.exscientologykids.com and they have a list of scientology ran websites, that you should avoid (afterall it is all BS). This is nothing but a cult. BTW, the Beghe interview is up and full at www.xenu.net VICTORY!
There's much more to the interview than just celebrity gossip...
Go hear the interview for yourselves at:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/bc/glosslip/2008/04/25/Glosslip-From-Our-Lips-To-Your-Ears
It's fascinating, and an illuminating look into the very heart of the cult.
As for the scientologists posting in response to all these sorts of things - most, if not all, are the products of people working for the Office of Special Affairs, who's job it is to do PR, in addition to implementing the more nefarious tactics such as harassment, blackmail, slander, and many other things, including trying to frame the more prominent critics of scientology for crimes, such as bomb threats.
If a your average scientologist were to visit sites critical of the "church", they would be considered "potential trouble sources" for their association with such material, and would have to pay up for courses to "make it right" again. That's why it is extremely unlikely that any scientologist not specifically directed to comment on anti-scientology stories as a PR exercise would do so on their own.
There's plenty of good information on the web, many sites that have already been suggested by others here, and the thing is, that while scientologists may claim these are lies till they go blue in the face, they cannot make the court documents, recording the criminal activities of Co$ to disappear - neither can they make the words of their founder, in implementing the "fair game" policy, go away.
I mean what credibility can a scientologist have in whatever they say, when their founder instructed them (among other, worse things) to LIE to critics, if that is what it takes.
So no, I do not believe anything coming out of the mouth of a scientologist - it's the policies of your own organization that have led to that.
Much more to it...
Thank you for your post, you just saved me from having to type all that in, and you are very RIGHT! We are NOT religious bigots, we are speaking out for free speech and freedom from abuse! Something that Co$ tells their adherents they do, but DON`T! However, they are brainwashed victims, and don`t know it. Pity.
There`s so much more...
You are so right...and I have listened to all the interviews from ex-scientologists. Poor brain-washed folks who are still in don`t have a clue. Most of us are NOT religious bigots....L.Con Hubbard even said that Jesus was a lover of boys and young men, I heard the audio of him saying this....among other insane spewing of his!
