When Avril Lavigne burst on the scene 6 years ago as a 17 year old trailblazer it was it was easy to dismiss her as a one album wonder. Now, 6 year later and with 3 albums under her belt, she continues to produce radio hits and her live show shows that the Canadian pop princess has immense amounts of talent.

Lavigne started her career as the anti-Britney Spears with roots in the punk rock genre. This didn't stop her from starting the show with the lead single 'Girlfriend' from her new album 'Best Damn Thing' that could easily pass for a Britney number. The choreographic stage show and the enthusiastic crowd made you forget that she may be selling out and was a great opening number. She continued with the second track on her latest album 'I Can do better' before unleashing a flurry of hits from the past including the song that launched her to become a superstar 'Complicated' along with 'My Happy Ending', 'I’m With You', and 'When Your Gone' which had many of the 10,000 fans singing along.

Avril showed a wide array of talent as well during the night playing piano, drums, and guitar. While she played a number of her best songs in the beginning, the show never lost the momentum it started with. Lavigne and her band came out to the encore of another hip hop version of 'Girlfriend' and ended with a hit of her debut album 'Let Go' with the closing number 'SkR Boi' which brought the show to a close and made for a happy ending for all.
