Sean Levert, Brother of Late R&B Singer, Dies

Sean Levert, the son Eddie Levert of the O'Jays and younger brother of R&B singer Gerald Levert, passed away late Sunday night at the age of 39.

Levert died at 11:57pm at Luthern Hospital after being transported to the facility from the Cuyahoga County Jail. Levert had gone to the jail's infirmary complaining he was sick. He was reportedly in jail for failing to pay about $80,000 in child support.

Levert was the younger brother of Gerald Levert, who passed away in 2006. He was also a member of the band "LeVert" with his brother.

Gerald Levert died on November 10, 2006 at the age of 40, where he was found dead in his bed at his Newbury home.

Sean Levert

Today is a very unbelievable and tragic day. Sean along with his brother Gerald was one of my best friends and there are no words to describe the pain of his loss especially for the Levert Family Friends & Fans. We are still grieving over the loss of Gerald and now to loose Sean is truly heartbreaking. Sean was one of the most funny lovable caring down to earth and wonderful friend to everyone who knew him, he was a joy to be around and share a wonderful friendship with.

I just want to offer this Prayer for the Leverts, Friends, Fans and the world. We love you!

In this time of need, strengthen the Levert Family, Friends and us all. You are our strength and our shield; You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. We know, Father, that Your eyes go to and from throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but our hope is in You to renew our strength. We know you have a plan for all that you do. We do not fear, for You are with us all when we need you always. We are not dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are our Father. We know You will strengthen us and help us; that You will uphold us with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of death, illness, hurt & pain cover the Levert Family, Friends and us all, Please Father let us feel the comfort of Your strength,

I am so sorry for the lost

I am so sorry for the lost of Eddie Levert, yet another lost.This man has been through and is still going through things in his life but dont give up there is a light at the end of the tunnel and just when you think you had enough God can change things around for you.I am praying for you and your family.

My Condolences to the Levert Family

I can not believe it! Sean gone too.
I can hear Gerald saying; Hey you all here comes my little brother, he's going to help me sing this song. I think Sean died from a broken heart and I was just listing to his new group.

To the Levert Family please know that you are and never left my prayers.
