Britney Ordered to Pay $400,000 in Lawyer Fees Accumulated Over Just 3 Months

On Thursday, a Los Angeles court ordered payment of nearly $400,000 to the various lawyers involved in Britney Spears personal affairs, with Britney footing the bill. The many attorneys have been working on her case for less than three months.

Furthermore, Britney's court-appointed lawyer, Samuel Ingham, will continue to receive $10,000 per week. Andrew Wallet, co-conservator of Britney's estate, will receive an advance of $100,000 - he had not been paid since becoming involved with the case last February.

A $175,000 advance will also go to the law firm that won Jamie Spears control over his daughter's affairs. $22,500 will go to a lawyer representing Britney's brother, Bryan Spears, and Britney's new divorce lawyer will be getting $75,000.

In most of these instances, Britney is being charged up the nose for work done by lawyers against her own will. Her father and Andrew Wallet remain in control of every aspect of her life until a hearing on July 31.

Meanwhile, while everyone else is cashing in, Britney has been limited to spending just $1,500 per week.
