LeBron James & Cub Cadet Looking for Nation's Best Trick Shot
Get your video cameras ready! Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James has teamed up with Cub Cadet to launch a new contest, the Trick Shot Challenge, looking for the country's best basketball trick shot. Basketball afficianados are encouraged to upload a video of their best trick shot for a chance to compete one-on-one against James, as well as fill up their garage with $5,000 of the Cub Cadet equipment of their choice.
Videos should be uploaded at LeBronsTrickShotChallenge.com by June 28, 2008 to be eligible. All of the videos entered will be available on the website where fans can view and vote for their favorite trick shot.
If trick shots aren't your thing, you still have a chance to win some cool prizes. Anyone over the age of 13 that registers on the site is automatically entered to win $5,000 in cash or signed LeBron James merchandise in a sweepstakes drawing to take place August 4, 2008. Every day you log into the site and cast a vote, additional entries will be submitted, increasing your odds of winning.
Once the videos have all been uploaded, a team of judges from Cub Cadet will select the nine best videos as semi-finalists. Fans will then vote on their favorite trick shot, narrowing it down to three finalists.
From here, LeBron James himself will decide who he wants to challenge in a one-on-one game. LeBron will travel to the winner's hometown for the matchup, while Cub Cadet brings along the outdoor power equipment of their choice.
Upload your best trick shot video to LebronsTrickShotChallenge.com by June 28, 2008. Fans can view the videos and vote on their favorites from July 7 to 27, 2008.
