Rob Knievel Jumps 24 Trucks at King's Island

Evel Knievel made history in 1975 when he jumped 14 Greyhound buses at Kings Island near Cincinnati, Ohio. 33-years later, Robbie Knievel followed in his father's footsteps, jumping over 24 Coke Zero trucks in the amusement park's parking lot.
The distance to jump over 24 delivery trucks was at 200 feet, Robbie's longest jump ever.
"Hopefully I'll see you after the jump," Knievel told the crowd as he climbed the start ramp Saturday evening.
According to Knievel, 46, he would need to be going 95mph at take off to successfully complete the 200 foot jump. The jump began from a three-story tall ramp, and was finished much to the delight of the crowd amid shooting flames, booming explosions, and wild cheers.
Having touched down at the tip of the landing ramp, Knievel gave the crowd a big thumbs-up before racing his bike around and popping a wheelie.
Knievel's jump was just shy of the 231 feet that he would need to break the world distance record he set himself in 1998, but, he did break the record for jumping trucks. His record for trucks was 19.
Robbie's father, Evel Knievel, jumped 115 feet over 14 buses at the same location in 1975. That event was watched by more than half of the country's television viewers. He died in 2007 at the age of 69 having suffered from failing health for many years.
Here is the video from the jump.
Robbie dedicated the stunt to his late father, and to US war veterans and those serving in the military.
