Kucinich Introduces Articles of Impeachment, Website Suspiciously Attacked

Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) stood before Congress Monday evening, delivering 35 Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush. The House session was broadcast live on C-SPAN, and Kucinich took the stage at approximately 7:30 ET.

Suspiciously, Kucinich's website was attacked just hours after he delivered these important Articles of Impeachment before Congress. His campaign issued the following alert via e-mail:

Under circumstances that can best be described as "suspicious," the www.kucinich.us website was crippled early this morning a few hours after Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced 35 extensively documented Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush.

Until we can restore the website and implement additional security measures, you can find the full list and detailed Articles at

I wish Kucinich were my representative

I am so heartened that Rep. Kucinich has the courage and good sense to introduce the articles of impeachment against George W. Bush. Our president has acted against our interests as citizens of the U.S. and is getting away with it! I wish my representatives had such good sense.

Impeach the entire government for Treason

Bush, Cheney and every member of congress - in both parties - that has accepts a single cent from AIPAC (i.e., all of the them) should be impeached for treason. Joseph Lieberman (Sen. Tel Aviv) should receive special consideration as an enemy of the state.

I actually wish there was a McCarthy like character for this generation to point out the treasonous actions of all those who have accepted AIPAC money and have sacrificed our country's "blood and treasure" for the sole benefit of Israel.

And just this week Obama, Clinton, and McCain officially sold their souls to AIPAC. The U.S. is owned.

Impeach the criminals

This is historic, a Democrat with balls! If this lowest of all criminals is impeached there may be hope for mankind. I mean, y'all impeached Clinton for... what was it.. receiving a blow job which caused um..... 0 deaths, but don't impeach a man responsible for over 1,000,000 lost lives? If America doesn't get its head out of its rear end for this, it'll never do it at all...

Yeah, I can't think of a

Yeah, I can't think of a better use of congress' time and taxpayer money than to impeach a lame-duck president.

Restoring our Constitution is IMPORTANT

I suppose you'd rather our country go down the tubes? Standing up and calling a crime a crime and trying to restore our constitutional rule of balance is VERY important.

Did you have a problem when

Did you have a problem when the Rethugs were impeaching the lame-duck Clinton? I think not. You're the kind of guy that would have have let Eichmann and the rest of the Nazis go because they were no longer in power.

Impeachment

Impeachment is absolutely essential if we are to get our Constitution back. Either party can use the unitary executive theory and abuse of civil liberties to further their goals unless impeachment throws a bright light on these practices.

Thank You Dennis Kucinich for doing the right Thing!

I thank Dennis Kucinich from the bottom of my heart for doing the right thing by introducing articles of impeachment against the notorious war criminal George W. Bush.

I certainly do hope that his colleagues in the House recognize that Congressman Kucinich has a "slam dunk" case against President Bush, which, from a legal standpoint, easily amounts to adequate prima facie evidence for formal presentation and examination at trial in the Senate.

I am also particularly gratified that the charges presented by Congressman Kucinich include the cover-up with respect to the events of 9/11. I would love to hear Bush's defense team explain why we have NEVER seen ANY credible video surveillance images of ANY of the passengers at ANY of the three airports from which the flights of 9/11 are said to have departed. Inasmuch as these airport gates are in a very real sense where the invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq began, I find it incredible that we have yet to have an explanation as to how routine video surveillance tapes at top rated high security ("Category X") international airports have not been made available to the public. How can this be explained? How can the news media's lack of curiosity about this be explained? We must have answers!

And I would also love to hear how Bush twice declared at town hall meetings (in late 2001 and early 2002) that he saw on a TV monitor the first jet hit the north tower WTC1 before he went into the classroom where minutes later the report about the second jet hitting the south tower WTC2 was conveyed to him by Andrew Card. This testimony from Bush's own mouth in public fora suggests either of two things: Bush had foreknowledge, or Bush is out of touch with reality.

Kucinich right now is our best hope of getting answers to vitally important questions that are essential for rectification of policies that have led us astray and caused us to destroy nations and peoples on a sad sack's whim.

Kucinich's web site team is

Kucinich's web site team is composed of the biggest group of unorganized incompetents you can imagine. Those of us who wanted to help Kucinich's campaign were constantly frustrated by his teams inability to get shite done.I don't believe their site was hacked. those clowns don't have a clue.

Gail,

I told the webmaster that I would personally pay for and install a better forum on the site. I have a resume with 10 years of experience in IT, working for companies as big as ExxonMobil and Dell Computer Japan, and as small as local restaurants.

Whoever is responsible for running the site could find the help the site needs among the members of the site. This is what I mean when I said they the people running the site have become a liability. They are not harnessing the power of the web. There are plenty of people on the forum, like me, complaining that they'd like to help and they no one has contacted them. The have been complaining for months and months that the website if not meeting their needs.

If whoever if running the site doesn't have time for it, then should have invited assistance and delegated authority. By failing to do that, they are doing Mr. Kucinich a grave disservice.

Just like how you've been censoring my comments on the site, I'm sure you'll prevent this message from having an audience. I'll be mailing a copy as well, hopefully I can get though to someone who wants to fix the problem instead of cover them up and make excuses for incompetency.

Thank you for your comments, Max.

While I regret the annoyance our website has cause you, I
do not support your demand regarding our webmaster. Like
me, she is a volunteer who has been volunteering at
kucinich.us for over three years. We are lucky to have
her, Max.

Our problems are not about the webmaster. They are about
the website. The website and forum we had during the 2004
campaign and the re-elect years could be effectively
webmastered and moderated. The current website/forum can
not. We have some excellent tech people who are trying to
help with all this. However, most of them our volunteers
as well with other paying jobs they must attend to.

Our candidate, Dennis, refuses to accept any corporate
money. Many of the people who support him are among the
poor. Dennis is not a wealthy person. We simply do not
have the money to do some of the things we were trying to
do, in my opinion. Hopefully, we will be able to get our
old forum back and truly facilitate communications among
those who come to our website.

The only forum posts we have been censoring are porn, spam
or advertising which is not permitted on campaign websites
for congress members. Dennis has supporters who are
children. I am an early childhood special education
teacher. I do not want little kids exposed to the porn
that some people/robots? try to put on our website.

I apologize to you, Max, if our campaign has offended you
by not publishing your series of negative and critical
posts regarding our website. We are trying to improve our
situation. We know we have problems. Beating us over the
head with them will not help. Besides, we are the peace
folks and we don't support beatings of any kind.

In hope and peace,
