D'oh! Homer Simpson's Friends Burned Online

In one episode of "The Simpsons", specifically "The Dad Who Knew Too Much", Home was seen with the email address chunkylover53@aol.com. Smartly, one of the writers on the show registered that email address, and answered fans' questions on occasion. But now fans who email that address are getting an extra special present, one they'd rather not be getting.

Chunkylover53 has now become a distributor of a Trojan virus, sending out auto replies to those who email it, and then pointing them to a downloadable "brand-new, unseen" Simpsons episode. Unfortunately, it's not a Simpsons episode. Rather, it's a link to a Trojan virus that will crash your computer, slow it down, and turn it into a pain in the neck.

So if you feel the urge to e-mail Homer, don't. Otherwise you'll be the one going "D'oh!"

I remember getting caught in that trap, all the data i had stored on my system was lost thanks to that "lovely surprise". It was my mistake to click the link without having any anti virus installed on my computer, this is something I promised myself to never do again. After the incident I made sure to install a strong internet security software so i won't have to go through something like that again.
