Carson Palmer Heats Up Ohio State-USC Matchup

Former USC quarterback and current signal caller of the Cincinnati Bengals Carson Palmer is doing his best to provide bulletin board material for the upcoming Ohio State-USC game. When asked about Buckeyes, Palmer stated:
I cannot stand the Buckeyes.
and added:
It's amazing to hear what those guys think about that university and what they think about that football program and Tressel and all the crap I gotta put up with being back there.
and threw more fuel on the fire by saying:
I'm really getting sick of it and I just can't wait for this game to get here so they can come out to the Coliseum and experience LA and get an old-fashioned Pac-10 butt-whoopin' and go back to the Big Ten.
The Buckeyes travel to USC on September 13th and the game will probably be one of the most hyped college football games of the year. Do you think, like me, that the Buckeyes will go into the LA Coliseum and show that the PAC 10 who is boss or you in agreement with Palmer and think that USC will wipe out the Buckeyes in SoCal?

He just wants to take the media's eye off his team because they suck. Quit reliving the glory days and maybe he will win some games in the NFL. What a dumb ass.
Whats going ot happen is USC is going to be blown out and no one will care what he said. OSU is going to make USC look bad really bad.
Buckeyes OWN!
USC blown out? Stop drinking. Ohio State couldn't even hold on to the National Title last year, even though they played the easiest schedule out there. Got beat by LSU, wow what a shocker.
They will be lucky to even score against the defense USC is putting on the field this year. And I don't even want to hear about Pryor. You put that freshman on the field and SC will eat him for lunch.
I went to the Rose Bowl game last year when Juice Williams and Illinois were supposed to run all over SC with thier spread offense. Problem is, USC's WHOLE DEFENSE is fast. I felt sorry for Illinois.
I'll give Ohio State major respect for coming here though.
Buckeyes have a lot more on the line for this game since they have lost all the credibility in the last two years. I believe it would a very tough game for Buckeyes. My overzealous fellow Buckeye fans please refrain from using "USC blown out" and other stuff like that.
OSU is 9-11 vs USC all time. I hope by September 2009 it would be 11-11.
Go bucks!
You guys are sadly mistaken if you think you're gonna come into the Coliseum and beat the Trojans!
You're gonna get sent back to Columbus on your little buckeye fannies after we stick you like pigs!
Why would Carson do this? Doesn't he realize Buckeyes fans are also Bengals fans?
Trojansrule,
Should be a great game. Great defense that USC has that is for sure. I think Ohio State could hurt them some with Beanie Wells and his power rather than speed. Wells is an amazing back.
Child attends USC but raised as a Buckeye. We parents are buckeyes. Have been to Coliseum for a Trojan game. What manufactured crap! No real enthusiasm, a lot of people there for show. So, forget about the home advantage. But you will see a big, curious crowd though!
As for Carson, he's another athletic idiot from USC. Another full-rider who probably couldn't get in otherwise. One more glitzy L.A. snob who is not happy in Ohio, where he has to deal with the hoi-paloi. Geez, no parties in the West Hills? No limo rides everywhere? Nobody gives a royal crapola about you Carson? Deal with it. You weren't good enough to go anywhere but Cinci & will never be a bigtime q.b.
does this idiot not realize that those crazy Buckeye fans are the same people that support his sorry sack of shit ass every sunday?? much to our disappointment i might add
I concurr ... I cannot imagine living in the rust colored, corn fed cesspool of Ohio. It's only a matter of time that a sane person escapes from the 'unreality' field of Ohio and speaks out.
You can dot your eye at home, but you are going to get a poke in the eye at the Colosseum.
Reality speaks for itself. The current USC run will become a legacy ... O-Hi-Uh will be a footnote.
See you in September!
I am not a large fan of either teams. I believe that both benefit from a system that guarantees that their conference will have a representative every year in the BCS by virtue of the fact that they have no conference title game and both the Pac-10 and Big-10 are essentially USC, Ohio State and everyone else. We can only hope for the sake of college football that the game is not close and at least one of them gets totally blown out so that at least we can be spared having at least one bully team from a chump conference go and get smacked around in the title game. Though, I will have to give USC a little more credit, they destroyed Oklahoma in 04 and played a classic against Texas and they have thumped Mich and Illinois the last two years. The same things can't be said for OSU over the past two years and some questionable officiating handed the title to them in '02. USC vs. say, an SEC would probably be competitive in a title match, OSU vs. an SEC team, probably another massacre. Please spare fans of college football another debacle.
