Former 'Cheers' star Kelsey Grammer nearly died last month when suffered a heart attack. The actor revealed this news to 'Entertainment Tonight' who aired the interview earlier today. Grammer, who had a history of substance abuse in the past, said his heart stopped while emergency crews were working on him.

The 53 actor said about being revived was:

"like somebody was actually trying to tear my chest apart with, like, the jaws of life."
