WTAM's popular Mike Trivisonno has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Trivisonno, who has two nicknames "Triv" and "Mr Know It All, hosts the 3-7 show that bears his name on the AM 1100. The announcement was made on his radio show today that he was diagnosed earlier this month with the disease and underwent his first treatment. He is expected to be back in to resume his normal duties on Monday. Chuck Galetti filled in for Trivisonno today and will take over the duties tomorrow.

Trivisonno, who is 58 years old and a longtime smoker, had a cancer scare a few years back when doctors discovered a spot on his lung. Tests came back negative for lung cancer but now he faces the battle of prostate cancer.
