Rielle Hunter's Family Calls on John Edwards to Take Paternity Test
John Edward's may not believe that he fathered the child of his mistress Rielle Hunter but her family thinks otherwise. A day after the former Senator from North Carolina and Presidential candidate admitted to having an affair with his former staffer, the scorned woman's family is asking him to take a DNA test to see if she is the father of her infant child.
"I would challenge him to do so," the sister Melissa told ABC News. "Somebody must stand up and defend my sister. I wish that those involved would refrain from bad-mouthing my sister."
Andrew Young, a close friend of Edwards who was a key official in his previous presidential campaign, took the fall for Edwards when questions came out regarding the affair. Young, who is married himself, said that he fathered Hunter's baby but inside sources insisted that he never had a relationship with her. Adding to the intrigue is the fact that there is no father listed on the lovechild's birth certificate.
Edwards said that the affair did not coincide with the baby's birth, but admitted that he had not taken a paternity test to prove that it is not his child. The National Enquirer shot pictures of Edwards meeting with Hunter and the baby just last month. After getting asked questions by the tabloid about what he was doing at the hotel, Edwards ran away and hid in a bathroom where he locked the door.
Now questions will likely be raised about the $114,461 that Hunter was paid as part of the Edwards campaign. Hunter's video work was amateur at best and one will begin to wonder why she was paid such a hefty sum of money for such shoddy work.

A campaign so lax in its background checks that it allowed a person without experience and with a checkered past (subject of a novel, in fact) to take on work that brought her so close to the candidate is partly to blame. Ms. Hunter is no star struck intern. She's a career loon and maybe a predator.
does not anyone see that she set poor johnny up from a mile away? she knew EXACTLY who he was when he entered the nightclub where she was working as a high class sort of escort like she did in her 20's when she was doing coke and running up rich men's credit cards. then she got hired to do 8th grade looking video work on edwards' campaign tour, got free trips, meals, and gave free sex? then *oopsie doopsie!* a 43 year old gets pregnant by accident and gets put up in a gated community with a brand new car, the best food and accomodations money can buy, then gets sent to santa barbara where you cannot live unless you're loaded with cash with her bastard daughter. and she wants her honor defended? when she set up edwards who's too dumb to see that's what happened, she knew his law educated wife was very sick, had two young kids she was trying to raise, and had an older daughter and long deceased beloved son. but rielle wants her honor defended? rielle, shut the &%$#@ up and go back to the hole you crawled out of you skanky druggy dumb bitch. don't think to ask for respect from anyone or i'll hunt you down and knock that skanky smile off your face myself and drag you to the nearest hairdresser so they can remove that dead squirrel on top your skank head.
John Edwards is a Pathalogical Liar, he stopped at absolutely nothing to keep this affair a secret. I know that he is the father of that child, and instead of doing the right thing, and completely coming clean. He keeps his trail of deception, he is truly insulting my and America's intelligence. If it was just a short fling, why the 3 million dollar home, and $15,000 monthly support checks. The former staffers, and current friends that are helping him cover this mess up better, stop now. Before he takes them to hell right along with his Dumb Ass. That poor little baby, growing up without a father. He is such a hypocrite, and as much as I respect his wife, and feel sorry for her illness. Why the Hell, is she helping him Lie! She knew nothing of this Affair in 2006, and she damn sure did not know that he was meeting her in California.
