Padraig Harrington was victorious today at the PGA Championship shooting a blistering 66 which was good for minus 4 today. This is Harrington's third major victory as the Dublin, Ireland, native has won the past two British Open Championships.
Ohio native and Kent State graduate Ben Curtis finished tied for second after shooting an even par on the day. Curtis was in thick of things until the 17th which he bogeyed and ended virtually any chance of winning his second major of his career.
Sergio Garcia, the Spanish golfer who is known for coming up just short, joined Curtis in second place at minus 1 in the tournament.
Harrington's victory makes him the first European to win the PGA tournament since 1930.
