National Enquirer: More Dirt on Edwards to Come

If John Edwards thought that his public confession of guilt would help the storm pass over more quickly, he's got another thing coming. The National Enquirer, ever the marketing geniuses that they are, are slowly but surely pounding more nails in the coffin of Edwards' political career as they reveal new information each week. And there's plenty more to come they say.

Having been working on the case for over 10 months now, the National Enquirer is sure to have dug up some pretty tantalizing dirt. Executive Editor Barry Levine says that they've "devoted really big money to this", and claims that the huge sum they've spent on investigating the story is only a spit to "the enormous amounts we know Edwards is spending to keep it contained. But he can't. We've followed the money trail. He bought her [Rielle Hunter] a $1 million house in North Carolina. Few days before our headlines forced him to go public, he spent $150,000 just on a private plane to whisk her to some undisclosed place She was moved in the middle of the night. Lots of money is being spent to keep her hapy and away from the media."

Levine also says:

"We have exclusive photographic evidence, pictures, videos, hard proof to further incriminate Edwards. He doesn't at this point know what we have, which is why I'm asking that we don't reveal too much yet. And which we will use unless and until he acknowledges paternity.

"She believes they'll be together in future because Elizabeth's health concerns make it just a matter of time. Whatever he's said, in her mind the clock is running. We know this.

"Although Edwards has this loyalist Andrew Young trying to claim it's really his baby in order to take the heat off Edwards, we know that's false. Young brought his wife and children to visit this lady Rielle Hunter. Now, nobody brings his wife and kids to have a nice social meeting with his mistress. It's ridiculous.

"For now, she's following whatever script he's written for her. She's saying what she's told to say. Keeping her mouth shut. John Edwards and Rielle are in steady contact. Who knows, but as things go along, she may tire of the game. And we'll be ready.

"We're in this for the long haul. We're sitting on very exclusive material. Like a reporter monitoring a room they were in from 9:45 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. We had the big OJ stories, we broke the Jesse Jackson lovechild story, we unearthed the Clinton girlfriend stories. We'll stay on this one forever."

Did you hear that John Edwards? The National Enquirer is on your case, and come hell or highwater, they're not giving up. While the National Enquirer can justify spending the money on the investigation because they make a profit on the paper's sales, how long will Edwards be able to play the game? Eventually his cash supply will dwindle, especially in light of the recent death of his political career.

Dear National Enquirer,

Dear National Enquirer,
I love you guys so much and you are my favourite gossip tabloid. I am so glad for what you are doing to spread as much light on this sordid affair of this ex-democratic hopeful. I detest a disloyal cheating man, and I hope you guys stay on this story until all the truth come out. Do not pay any attention about people criticizing you. I think you guys have guts and are very brave. Stay on him until he tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. A political figure, lying and cheating on his wife! I have no respect for women who stay in adulterous affairs, whether for the sake of children or for health reasons. A woman should have enough respect for herself that if a husband strays from her to another woman, that the sad truth is he is not totaly in love with her or find her desirable to him anymore. I would never sleep with my husband again if I knew he was unfaithful to me. That is the ultimate betrayal! But these women stay because they have no self esteem and because of all the money, status and everything else that comes along with being with a political figure. Children or no children, sick or not sick, if I was his wife, I would give him the boot.
So stay on this story National Enquirer. Let the whole truth come out.
Can't Wait,
Joceangel
