McCain Will Air Biden Ad During DNC in Key States

The marketing folks at Senator John McCain's campaign sure do work quick. It hasn't even been twenty-four hours since Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) was revealed as Barack Obama's vice presidential running mate, and they're already working on an ad campaign that will run during the Democratic National Convention next week.
The add will continue the McCain campaign's theme of questioning whether Obama is ready to lead utilizing the words of Biden himself. It will also play on the claim that McCain is a bipartisan candidate that can cross party lines.
The ad is pretty simple and will contain two clips: one from an interview and the other from a primary debate. The first clip from the primaries shows Biden questioning Obama's readiness to lead, stating, "I think he can be ready, but right now I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training." The second clip, shown below, show's Biden praising McCain.
According to the McCain campaign, the ad will air in "key states". It also serves as a great response to the endless hours of Biden VP coverage that are sure to be airing this weekend.
