Significant Voting Machine Problems Present in 10 Swing States
A new study by the Common Cause and the Century Foundation finds that ten key swing states have significant voting problems that haven't been addressed since last election. Those 10 states are: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Problems listed in the report range from not enough voting machines, to glitches with electronic registration poll books. Due to the anticipated problems, Common Cause is recommending that states have enough provisional ballots on hand, enough for at least 10% of the voting population.
According to Common Cause, it's not too late to fix many of the problems. The said even though many states don't have laws to require some safeguards, they can act to make sure there are enough ballots at the polls, workers are properly trained, and that there are enough poll workers on election day.

general election
After financial market crises, hurricans and oder disasters it would be completely crazy to imagine that Bush would be able to deliver a general election which will be well organized.
