Obama Event Interrupted by "Blacks Against Obama" Protesters
Barack Obama was interrupted at a rally today at the University of Miami after a dozen or so protesters began to wave homemade signs. The group of mostly African-American men held up signs reading "Jesse Jackson hates Obama", "Obama for abortions", "Obama for gay marriage", "Blacks against Obama", and "Obama endorsed by the KKK."
The men are said to be a part of the Miami-based group known as "Michael Warns." In attendance was a crowd of about 5,000 people, who shouted down the protesters by chanting "Yes we can!"
The protesters briefly interupted Obama's message, when he paused and tried to calm down the crowd, saying "Hey young people out there - it's no problem for you to put your signs up, but let everybody - let me finish what I have to say, alright?"
Shortly afterwards the men were escorted out by security. As they were leaving, Obama said, "Alright guys, see ya. Alright, let's get back to work."
A similar group appeared at a Tampa Obama event in August.

Blacks Against Obama are planted caricatures for distraction
As a black man I can't castigate but sympathize with those idiots because we all know these are agents of distraction. The republicans have noticed that the Sarah Palin did not work and are now bent on a second distraction to slump Obama's momentum . Move on Barack. Obama is not running for president of black America but all Americans and so attempts to trivialize this with a caricature of idiots masquerading as black voices won't cut it. We have been there before and there is no stopping us.

You are saying the Republicans are behind this "distraction!!" I realize the polls show 93% of blacks are voting for Obama, I'm sure race has nothing to do with it. But there are troublemakers of all races. To assume that no blacks would be against Obama is out of control.

A Disgrace for all Americans
I am so embarrassed for my African American community, because it is people like this that make our African American community looked down upon. This guy seems to be psychotic with what he is saying and his followers are just as crazy. Nothing that he has said makes sense and he makes himself look like a total fool. I am not voting for Obama because he is a black man. I have followed both campaigns since the start and I watched both sides to see what they have had to say. Ultimately it comes down to who I feel is best for my future and my 2 kids. I am a hard worker with a college degree and I know what issues I want to see changed and none of which I feel has been touched upon by the McCain campaign. It has been a lot of lies and people saying dumb things such as this guy. What does Jesse Jackson hating Obama have to do with the issues? What does Obama supporting abortion have to do with my kids being able to go to college? What does Obama supporting gay marriages have to do with me being able to retire at 65 with the money I have put into my retirement fun? Absolutely nothing at all and it sickens me to even know that we can not come together as Americans not race and do what is right for eachother.

Gee, isn't Obama trying to blame McCain for Wall Street because McCain wants LESS government control? Isn't Obama the one that wants NATIONALIZED health care? Isn't Obama for silencing opposition, as in telling his little robots to try to keep authors off the air in Chicago when they were opposed to him?
All you have to do is read Obama's policies off his own website to see it. More Federal government control of everything, and what he doesn't want the Feds to control he wants the UN to control.
