David Blaine = Lame Magician Who Cheats on Latest Stunt
David Blaine, the so-called daredevil "magician", who continues to engage in elaborate stunts that no one really cares much about, has been spotted cheating in his latest stunt attempt. His current stunt involves hanging upside down for 60 hours in NYC's Central Park. The only thing exciting about whole thing was the fact that doctors warned him that he could go blind and have a stroke.
So David has been spotted by more than a few eagle-eyed New Yorkers STANDING UP on an observation deck, and they've got photographic evidence to prove it.
No one's come out and officially explained the reason why he keeps hanging out on the observation deck, but I think we can already label this stunt a giant failure. According to one bystander, security on scene explained that EMTs check him out for about 10 minutes per hour standing upright on the crane's deck.
How is taking a 10 minute break every hour hanging upside down for 60 hours?

When you realize he cheats on all the "magic' he does, you will realize he is a complete fraud.
I was there. No one knew if this was part of the stunt. He only explained that he was moving his legs and keeping his head above his heart, he never mentioned this "standing up" every once in a while. also, he said he was using a catheter, but her peed behind a white blanket when he stood on the crane. Maybe he was just emptying it. The thing is, if you say you are going to do something, do it, dont plan how you can take breaks every once in a while to make it doable.
I arrived at 9am this morning to find him on the platform, and he stayed there for 20 minutes. I watched the time. And while this was happening, I asked a security guard what he thought about it. He told me, yeah, it's kind of cheap, isn't it? I asked him how many breaks he's seen him take this morning, and the guard told me "3, maybe 4, since 8 when I arrived." So that's 3-4 breaks in like an hour and a half. A few minutes after I had this conversation, he went back upside down. Probably only for about 10 minutes before going BACK on the platform again. The doctor even took off his boots this second time. And the doctor also kept checking him out, but it seemed like he was moving very slow. Checking all of his straps, boots, seriously moving very slow, obviously so he could stay on the platform as long as possible without looking like a complete liar. I was really disappointed. I've been telling everyone I know how much of a cheater this guy is. Not to mention, he's constantly horizontal and putting his head right side up, and almost constantly unhooking his legs, one at a time, and putting it below his body. This isn't upside down. It's fucking really stupid.

Much as I'm dissappointed with David's latest stunt, I'm nevertheless not like totally devasted because he screwed up this once. Have we forgotten his many other stunts that's gotten our Oooo's and Wow's? Feeling cheated? Cheated of what? Did you have to pay to watch him? Did he put a gun to your head to watch his meaningless stunt?
And what this naming him a fraud? Did he CLAIM to be this extrodinary guy to do this and that? I think that through what we've seen him capable of doing in the past that WE attach this CLAIM to him ourselves. So if he fails in his task, he's a fraud.
By the way, how do you define magic anyway? Optical illusions mostly which are tricks to deceive the eye ... or cheating the eye so to speak. Sooo.... how does one become a fraud and cheat on magic anyway?
Like I said, I'm equally dissappointed with his failed stunt .... and in case you're reading this David, its alright to fail once in a while. Stalling and Faking any stunts will inevitably earn you the 'fraud' label.
So guys, give the dude a break will ya??!!!
I can't believe Blaine is still getting on tv with this crap and can actually pay enough people to show up. Cheezy stunt and the tv special was awful - rudimentary tricks that can be bought at the local magic shop with a lot of dreadfully boring filler. Who else was hoping Kimbo would make this guy disappear?
Total fraud. Always has been, always will be.
