n an interview published in the latest edition of Marie Claire, Lindsay Lohan says that she's happier than ever since finding love with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, and is looking forward to the future. After a difficult childhood and her public troubles in the past few years, Lindsay thinks her life experience would make her a good mother.

She told the magazine, "At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well. A child in need or a newborn from another country. I'm not sure yet."

Should Lohan decide to go down that path, she would be joining a long list of Hollywood celebrities that have adopted, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Sharon Stone, Sheryl Crow, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Mia Farrow, and Calista Flockhart.

She also finally confirmed her relationship with Ronson, and said,"People can think what they want. I'm really happy and that's all that matters."

The pair are reportedly looking at buying an apartment together in New York. Earlier this week they were spotted on vacation in Mexico looking happier than ever.
