Wisconsin Marching Band Banned from Playing at OSU Game

Conspicuously absent from tonight's college football matchup between the the University of Wisconsin Badgers vs. the Ohio State University Buckeyes will be the marching band. University of Wisconsin officials announced that their marching band will not be playing at the OSU game tonight as an investigation continues into allegations of hazing.

School officials have not said whether the band's suspension this week stems from last week's trip to Michigan.

Michael Leckrone, Wisconsin's longtime band director, said that this may be the first time since the 1920's that the band hasn't performed at a Badgers home game.

The #18 ranked Badgers and # 14 ranked Buckeyes take to the field at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday evening at 8pm ET. The game will be shown on ABC.
