Angelina Jolie May Stop Making Movies & Marry Brad Pitt
In an interview with the Italian edition of Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie said that she might stop making films altogether, and hinted that she might marry Brad Pitt at the urging of their children. She also said that her priorities have changed since giving birth to their twins in July.
"'The kids are my priority, so it's possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether. I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s. In reality my life is a lot more chaotic and adventurous now. Brad [Pitt] and I pilot airplanes, we travel non-stop, we go to difficult places and we have chosen to do it taking all of the kids with us," she said.
When asked about the possibility of marrying Brad, she said their children might have something to do with it:
"Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around the ritual of marriage, children are an afterthought. We did everything backwards. 'But sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us [to get married]. You know, they see films and start asking questions. Such as, "Why are Shrek and Fiona married and you're not?"' the 33-year-old added.
Jolie also spoke about her past, saying that when she was younger she "knew very little about the world" and was "completely self-absorbed." She added that it was only when "I came out of my shell and started taking care of others that I found the real Angelina."
